Adam Caplan

Adam Caplan leads AI and Data at Altimetrik, a global engineering firm of more than 10,000 employees. He established Altimetrik’s early partnership with OpenAI and is driving the integration of AI across all client solutions—enabling smarter, faster outcomes for some of the world’s most recognized companies.
Altimetrik was recently named to the Constellation Research Shortlist for top Global AI Services firms. Previously, Adam served as SVP, Salesforce AI, where he was a founding member of the team that built and launched Salesforce’s GenAI products. He also chaired Salesforce’s GenAI Advisory Board, guiding hundreds of enterprise executives on how to responsibly and effectively leverage generative AI.
Earlier in his career, Adam founded Model Metrics, a consulting firm that helped enterprises accelerate cloud adoption. The company was recognized as the #1 Place to Work in Chicago by the Chicago Tribune, and Adam was named CEO of the Year by the Illinois Technology Association.

Salesforce later acquired Model Metrics, integrating its capabilities to expand Salesforce’s early professional services and cloud expertise. Adam holds an MBA from Northwestern’s Kellogg School of Management and a BS in Economics from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania. He has served on the World Economic Forum’s Metaverse Governance Steering Committee and holds three patents for enterprise applications of Web3 technologies. He has three children, two daughters and a son, lives in Chicago and loves to play tennis and ski.
