Michael Moriarty
As Chief Investment Officer, Michael leads the firm’s investment activities, the development of its investment team, policies and procedures, and the continued buildout of its investment platform.
Previously, Michael served as Chief Investment Officer at Wealthspire Advisors, where he led the firm’s investment research and strategy efforts. In that role, he oversaw the development and implementation of investment policies and worked closely with the Investment Committee to guide portfolio construction, manager selection, and overall market positioning for clients. Michael was instrumental in growing Wealthspire from a $5 billion AUM RIA to a $30+ billion in seven years organically and inorganically.

​Michael’s career spans more than two decades across leading global financial institutions. Before joining Wealthspire, Michael was Head of the Investment Platform at Dynasty Financial Partners, a leading platform for independent RIAs and hybrid advisors representing more than 45 teams across the country.
Prior to that, he served as Chief Operating Officer for one of Citadel’s equity long/short businesses, Surveyor Capital, and as Managing Director and Head of the Hedge Fund Derivative Business (Americas) at J.P. Morgan.

Earlier in his career, he was Senior Managing Director and Global Head of the Hedge Fund Derivative Business at Bear Stearns and held roles at GE Capital and NationsBank’s Foreign Exchange Group.

A member of Phi Beta Kappa, Michael earned his B.A. from Davidson College and a Master’s degree in Law and Diplomacy from Tufts University's Fletcher School.
